Last year, Xan won the 1st place wedding package on a reality tv show called Last Bride Standing. The Wasaga Sun covered the story. She initially did the show because she was looking for a photographer and liked the requirement in the rules to 'play in the spirit of fun'. Although challenges were intense, Xan is grateful for the experience and her support team. She has since given away some of the prizes in order to have a beach wedding near the couple's home in August.
